WHAT IS ROCKIT BODY [PILATES]™?
ROCKIT BODY [PILATES]™ is a unique hybrid of pilates, cardio and weight training that uses a state-of-the-art reformer; and great music to create an exercise experience unlike any other. Our high-octane, shirt-drenching exercises strengthen, tighten, and tone while the body benefits from the lengthening and postural enhancing effects of pilates. ROCKIT [PILATES]™ burns calories by keeping your heart rate up and jump-starting your metabolism. And, because our RockIt Pilates™ workout is low-impact, there's no pressure on your joints or spine, and it eliminates extra stress on the body.

THIS IS MY FIRST TIME DOING ROCKIT [PILATES]™ - SHOULD I DO PRIVATE SESSIONS FIRST?
We recommend attending beginner classes that introduce the reformer™ and our exercises used in class. The workout is still intense, but the routines are kept simple to ensure everyone uses appropriate form. Our regular RockIt Pilates™ classes can be attended by beginners, as well. Most of our new students do fine in the classes. However, if you have chronic back pain, painful joints, any medical condition, or have not been physically active in the past, it is recommended to speak to the manager first to assess your fitness level and decide whether a private class would be a better option for your first class.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I PRACTICE ROCKIT [PILATES]™?
The workout is designed to work your body to muscle fatigue at which point you need to rest. Depending on your fitness level and the intensity of your workout, you will need more, or less, time to recover. We recommend three times a week to allow your body to properly recover and repair. Listen to your body, it's up to you.

WHAT IF I CAN'T COME TO CLASS AND I HAVE ALREADY BEEN CONFIRMED? WILL I BE CHARGED?
Yes, even if it's your first time. We have an 8 hour cancellation policy. Unlimited Class Packages will be charged a $15 late cancellation fee to the credit card on file each time you cancel or reschedule a class without giving us the full 8 hr notice. 'No-shows' will be charged $25.00. Session Series Packages will have a class deducted for late cancellations and 'no-shows'. Sorry, there are no exceptions.

CLASSES LOOK FULL, HOW DO I GET IN?
The waitlist is a great way to get the class you want when the schedule looks full! Our schedule allows sign-ups two weeks in advance, so clients often overbook themselves in advance, then cancel themselves out before the 8 hour cancellation window. The waitlist moves quickly, so many of our wait-listed clients get added to the classes. Also, double check the online class schedule often, especially within 8 hours of a class when the wait list closes and doesn't auto-add anyone, as many people will cancel themselves out, and spots open up.

HOW DOES THE WAITLIST WORK?
All you have to do is reserve a spot in the full class that you want, and you will be added to the waitlist for that class. If a spot becomes available, you will be auto-added to the class. You are confirmed!

You may receive a courtesy confirmation email, but they are not to be relied upon (We are at the mercy of our software's auto-emails!). Please always check your account online to see if you've been added, as you will be responsible for managing your waitlist. Once you are added to the class from a wait list, you are considered confirmed and held to the cancellation policy. So please be sure that you take yourself off the wait list right away if you know you won't be available to take the class if you get in. Wait lists close 8 hours before the class, and you will not be auto-added after that. If you didn't get in from the wait list at least 8 hours prior to the class, please check the online schedule to see if there are any last minute openings. There often are! If so, you may sign up for the class!

HOW DO I BUY CLASSES, MONTHLY MEMBERSHIPS OR PACKAGES, AND SCHEDULE CLASSES?
We use an online system where the member can be in complete control. You will be asked to create a profile, login, and password. You will also be asked for a credit card to keep on file, which can be used for purchases, as well as any late charges. Our automated online booking system can be found on our homepage at www.rockitbodypilates.com, as well as throughout this website. Once you have created an account, you can view the class schedule or purchase classes/packages/monthly memberships that are right for you. WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO CLASS?
1. Socks with tread are required throughout the studio and for all classes. We sell Toezies at the front desk for a nominal price, if you don't have any.
2. Bring a towel as you will most likely sweat! We require towels in our RockIt Barre™, RockIt HIIT™, and RockIt Recess™ classes.
3. We have a water dispenser, but some students may want to have a water bottle instead.
4. Wear loose, comfortable clothes, that allow your muscles to stretch and your skin to "breathe" (similar to what you would wear for a yoga or dance class).
5. Jewelry is NOT a good idea. It may catch in the spring system, but it is your choice.
6. No cellphones during classes (please be respectful of others).
7. No strong perfumes or body oils.

ARE MY PURCHASES REFUNDABLE OR TRANSFERABLE?
Sorry, but all purchases are final. Classes are non-refundable, and may not be exchanged, or transferred. Some of our memberships require signing a contract for auto-payments and auto-renewal. Please make sure that you look these over carefully and fully understand the rules before signing them.

IS MY PACKAGE ON AUTO-PAYMENT AND AUTO-RENEWAL? WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?
We have packages, such as our 3-month package, that charge your monthly dues to the credit card on file, and also automatically renew the contract with the same terms upon expiration. If you choose to end your package when the initial term expires or after any auto-renewal package cycle, you must give us notice by email at least ten days prior to your package expiration. Our 3- month packages are on this contract. So be sure that you are very clear what the terms are when purchasing your packages.
